Happy St. Patty's Day!

Our little leprechaun, Seamus, came to visit last night...and boy, did he leave a mess. He left tiny footprints all over the house, wrote a special letter, tipped furniture over, left toys out, turned the milk green, relieved himself in two toilets, turned the boys' nose green, and left his pot 'o' gold for Jaiden to find. Jaiden was so surprised... He loved seeing the footprints all over. His favorite had to be the "leprechaun peeps." This had to be our best St. Patrick's Day yet. We all finished off the morning with green pancakes, syrup, eggs, and milk.

A wonderful mess

I often find myself looking at the house, my kids, my life, my marriage,and start thinking, wow, this needs some serious cleaning. There are so many areas where I could become more organized. I can say I've definitely improved in some ways...schedules and house work to name a couple,but it always seems to go right back to where I started. And there is never any consistency. Just a lot of randomness. Then I think, in all of this madness, I'm actually enjoying myself, my house, my kids, my life, my marriage. I just need to stop trying so hard and start embracing my wonderful mess. Here are some snippets from February.

3 Months Old!

This little handsomes is 3 months old and I can't believe it! Time has gone by way too fast. I'm sure I say that every time I post, but it does. We love Jett so much! He is obviously starting to smile and giggle. He has a funny little personality and is one happy baby... most of the time. He's starting to sleep better during the night(thank goodness). He's just about 12 lbs. and he's looking super tall(not sure how tall exactly). The crazy thing is that while I was cleaning out his smaller outfits I held up one of his premie suits and couldn't believe he was ever that tiny. It makes me sad that babies have to get big so fast but I love this next stage he is moving into. It just keeps getting better.

Wow, I love these boys so much!

Jett is almost 2 months old! It's gone by so fast and I can't believe how big he is. He is our little chubba wubba. He's such a sweet little baby. He's so mellow and loves to be snuggled. He's such a good eater and I totally think he's going to pass Jaiden up one of these days. He's going to be the BIG little brother. He loves to let me give him millions of kisses and he'd rather fall asleep next to me than in his bed. He's still working on showing a us a smile but I have a feeling it's going to be any day now.
 Jaiden adores him! He is such an amazing big brother. He hasn't tried to pull one of those sneaky moves on Jett while I'm not looking. He's has so much love for Jett and I know he doesn't feel like he's not getting enough attention. He seems so grown up to me and I love him like crazy. He's my little helper.
We are truly so blessed to have such wonderful and super cute little boys!
